Sansui Television belongs to Sansui Electric Co., Ltd. a Tokyo based manufacturer of audio and video equipment. Sansui is part of Grande Holdings, a Chinese-Hong Kong conglomerate that owns the brands Akai and Nakmichi. Sansui began by manufacturing transformers in its early years and then moved into audio components.
